The Media Archaeology Lab’s residency series, founded by Mél Hogan in 2013, has so far attracted artists, writers, and researchers from Canada, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, and across the US. Residencies at the MAL provide full access to the lab and all of its holdings for as long as is necessary for project completion. Residencies are typically coupled with a talk, performance, exhibition, or publication that detail the residency project and its results. Limited funding is available. Deadline to submit: August 15, 2017.
We are currently accepting applications for residencies for the 2017-2018 academic year! Please complete our residency application form here: http://bit.ly/MALresidency. Note that you will need to provide URLs to a CV and website/work samples. If you prefer to provide these as attachments, or if you have any additional questions, please contact our curator, Maya Livio.
